The budget for the next year were presented to the city commissioners and city manager. Different inspections to the building were carried in order to make repairs. The success of the bookmobile was mentioned and the board members were invited to hear Eleanor Roosevelt speech at the Annual Kansas Library Association Conference on October 7th.

A letter explaining the situation of a boy from Haskell institute who failed to return a book. According to city laws the boy needed to be charge but all the charges were dismissed. However, the letter suggested Haskell students should pay an extra fee when they checkout a book. There is no register of answer to this letter.
