Interviewed by Pattie Johnston on August 22, 2003, as part of the Lawrence Remembers: The World War II Years Project, Marvin talked about his military experiences during the Second World War. Connelly completed basic training in Midland, Texas. He worked as a B-34 mechanic in Saipan for the duration of the war. Rhea Connelly, Connelly’s wife, is also featured in the interview. Marvin Connelly passed away on October 30, 2012.]]></dcterms:description>
