An installation schedule was included for the new location of the library.
The tentative schedule to moving to the new building was August 14th to 16th and it was expected the library was closed for ten days.

The board prepared brochures and refreshments for patrons during the opening of the new building.

A page of "Douglas County Historical Society Newsletter" from November 27 of 1972 was attached. The newsletter informs about the beginnings of the library thanks to The Kansas Athenaeum society. ]]> ]]>
