Photograph shows the building from the side, the front part has a City Hall sign, the back part has a fire headquarters sign. Several men and boys are standing in front of the building. Beneath the photograph is a white border. Across the border "Young Men's Christian Association and City Hall, Lawrence, Kansas." is typed in black ink. Next to "Kansas" "1909" is written in pencil. On the back "Photo by Haines Photo Co., Conneaut, O." is typed sideways in black ink. On the back is information on when and from whom the postcard was acquired, Billy Jones Osage, Kansas 3/15/1975.
