At the top of the image "Lawrence, Kan. Carnegie Public Library." is typed in red ink. The is a white border on the right side. At the bottom of the border "4354" is typed in red ink. On the back along the left side "Carl W. Mettner, Lawrence, Kan. Germany" is typed in red ink. Information on when the postcard was acquired is on the back, 10/22/1988.
