Description
Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Lawrence Public Library on the front. Photograph shows the building from the front at a slight angle. There is a white border at the bottom. Beneath the border in the middle "Public Library, Lawrence, Kansas" is typed in black ink. Across the bottom of the border "and here your Sunday afternoons." is written in black ink, now faded. On the back the postcard is addressed to Miss Eleanor Draper in Oswego, Kansas. Postmarked September 22, 1906. Received stamp dated September 23, 1906. Information on when and where the postcard was acquired is on the back, McPherson 8/24/1973.
