At the top of the photograph "Lawrence, Kans., Lawrence High School" is typed in red ink. On the back along the left side "10991 Pub. by Carl W. Mettner, Lawrence, Kans. Printed in Germany." is typed sideways in green ink. On the back is a note to Miss Charlotte Parrette in Topeka, Kansas from Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked April 9, 1910. Information on when the postcard was acquired is on the back, 5/27/1978.
