Postcard with a black and white photograph of the 900 block of Massachusetts Street on the front. Photograph is looking south and focuses more on the right side of the street. Streetcar tracks are in the middle of the street, a streetcar is in the background. At the bottom of the photograph is a black strip with "814 Massachusetts Street Looking South from Warren, Lawrence, Kans." printed in white ink. Above "Warren" "9th" is written in black ink (9th Street used to be called Warren). A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back in the middle "Mfgd by M.L. Zercher Book and Sta. Co., Topeka, Kan." is typed sideways in black ink. On the back is information on the photograph location written in blue ink, discusses that the Southwest corner is where Weaver's Department Store will be built. Information on when the postcard was acquired is on the back, 1/29/1999.
