Postcard with a black and white photograph of the stadium entrance at Haskell Institute on the front. Photograph depicts the stadium entrance in the center with greenery around it. There is a white border around the entire photograph. On the back at the top of the left side "Entrance to Stadium at Haskell Institute, Lawrence, Kansas. U.S. Government school for Indians founded in 1884. Training in 20 vocations. Students from 64 tribes and 28 states." is printed in black ink. A note is written on the back to Miss Mary Sue Holmes in Kansas City, Kansas from Rachel in Lawrence, Kansas. Dated and postmarked February 18, 1954. Information on when the postcard was acquired is on the back, 12/20/1981.
