Postcard with a colored image of Massachusetts Street on the front. Image is looking south down Massachusetts Street and centered in the middle of the street, Merchants National Bank is at the beginning of the left side. Image is photograph colored in by hand. At the top of the postcard "Mass Street, looking South, Lawrence, Kansas." is typed in black ink. At the bottom of the text "1914" is written in black ink. On note is on the back to Miss Margaret Jellison in Wilson, Kansas from Mariam at 1221 Tennessee Street, Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked January 21, 1914. Note: Address is not listed in the 1913-14 directory.
