Postcard with a colored image of Massachusetts Street on the front. Image is from the top of a building looking southwest. Image is a photograph colored in by hand. At the top of the right side "Lawrence, Kansas, Massachusetts Street" is typed in red ink. Beneath the text '1908" is written in black ink. On the back along the left side "No. 7313. C.W. Mettner, Lawrence, Kansas. Made in Germany" is typed sideways in green ink. A note is written on the back to Mr. Alfred Carter in Leavenworth, Kansas from his mother in Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked Jan 17, 1908. On the back "Duplicate 1908" is written, done either by Charline Fitzgerald or Sally Postma.
