Postcard with a colored image of Massachusetts Street on the front. Image is looking north from the center of the street. trolleys are on both streetcar lines, cars and horse drawn carriages are also in the street. Image is a photograph colored in by hand. At the top of postcard "Massachusetts Street, Lawrence, Kans." is printed in red ink. On the back in the middle "Lawrence Post Card and Novelty Co., Pub." is typed sideways in black ink. A note is written on the back to Mrs. Ellen Dane in Chicope[e] Falls, Massachusetts from Lawrence, Kansas. Dated and postmarked February 4, 1911.
