At the bottom of the photograph &quot;861 Ice Jam, Kaw River, Lawrence, Kans. Jan. 16, 1910&quot; is printed in white ink. On the back is a note to Mrs. S. Hail in Topeka, Kansas from her child R.H.H. in Lawrence, Kansas . Note discussed when &quot;R&quot; is going to leave after the term is over. Postmarked January 23, 1910.
