Postcard with a black and white photograph of an ice gorge on the Kaw River on the front. Photograph depicts the river with ice sheets on both sides of the bank. At the bottom of the photograph "1838A Ice Jam, Kaw River, Lawrence Kans. 1910. Photo by The Studio Jackson" is printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back "Mfgd. by M.L. Zercher Book and Sta. Ca., Topeka, Kan." is typed sideways in black ink.
