At the bottom of the photograph "1838A Ice Jam, Kaw River, Lawrence Kans. 1910. Photo by The Studio Jackson" is printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back "Mfgd. by M.L. Zercher Book and Sta. Ca., Topeka, Kan." is typed sideways in black ink.
