Postcard with a black and white image of the ice gorge on the Kaw River on the front. Photograph depicts the river covered in sheets of ice, taken from Bowersock Mills. At the bottom of the photograph "7 - Ice Gorge Lawrence Kan '10" is printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. A note is written on the back to Miss Emma Keister in La Crosse, Kansas from C.M. in Lawrence, Kansas. Note discusses where the photograph was taken. Postmarked January 23, 1910. Information on when and from whom the postcard was acquired is on the back, 10/20/1986 from Houde.
