Postcard with a black and white photograph of the 600 block of Massachusetts Street after the 1911 tornado on the front. In the center of the photograph is the H. Thompson, Photographer building. In the photograph people are walking around. Across the bottom "600 Blk. Mass. St. "Tornado" Lawrence Kan 4/12 '11" is printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back is a note to H.G. Clark in Chanute, Kansas from Herb. Postmarked 1911. Information on when and where the postcard was acquired is on the back, 12/15/1989 from NB KU.
